About the role
As a Firmware Validation Engineer at UST, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between low-level hardware/firmware validation and modern Artificial Intelligence. Your responsibilities will involve defining test plans, validation strategies, and test cases for complex firmware/embedded features, designing and building robust Python test automation frameworks, and integrating AI agents for automation tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Define test plans, validation strategies, and test cases for complex firmware/embedded features - Design, build, and scale robust, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks using Python (e.g., PyTest, Robot Framework) - Design and deploy autonomous AI agents to automate complex test sequence generation, log analysis, and anomaly detection Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in Firmware & Hardware Validation - Strong fundamentals in embedded systems architecture (x86, ARM, or RISC-V) - Experience with hardware/firmware validation: BIOS, PCIe, NVMe, BMC - Hands-on debugging skills using hardware tools and software utilities - Proficiency in Python scripting with Object-Oriented Programming concepts - Proven track record of building and managing modular automation frameworks About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
