Lead Azure Cloud Engineer Terraform and CI/CD

Role Description Job Title: Lead I DevOps Engineering Experience: 710 Years Location: Pune Work Mode: Onsite (5 Days a Week - UK Shift) Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with strong handson experience in Microsoft Azure Cloud, Terraform, CI/CD Automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Monitoring, and Production Support. The ideal candidate should have proven experience in designing and managing Azure cloud infrastructure, building reusable Terraform modules, implementing enterprisegrade CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployments, and supporting production environments. This role requires someone with deep technical expertise rather than basic exposure to Azure or CI/CD. Candidates should have experience working in large-scale cloud environments and be comfortable participating in production oncall support. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, including modules, remote state management, and infrastructure automation.Build, enhance, and maintain enterprise CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Harness.Automate application deployment, infrastructure provisioning, testing, and release processes.Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred).Configure and support Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, Private Endpoints, and Key Vault.Implement monitoring, observability, and centralized logging using Splunk, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.Develop automation scripts using Python and Bash.Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and participate in oncall production support.Collaborate with Development, QA, and Platform Engineering teams to implement DevOps best practices.Ensure platform security, reliability, scalability, and performance across cloud environments.Mandatory SkillsAzure CloudStrong handson experience designing and managing Azure infrastructure.Experience with Azure services such as:AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service)Azure App ServicesAzure Container Registry (ACR)Virtual Networks (VNet)Network Security Groups (NSG)Load BalancerApplication GatewayAzure StorageAzure Key VaultManaged IdentityPrivate EndpointsInfrastructure as CodeStrong expertise in Terraform.Experience creating reusable Terraform modules.Handson experience with state management, variables, workspaces, and remote backend configuration.Experience provisioning Azure infrastructure entirely through Terraform.CI/CDHandson experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using one or more of: GitLab CIGitHub ActionsJenkinsHarnessExperience WithBuild automationDeployment automationRelease pipelinesBlueGreen or Canary deploymentsGit version controlContainers & OrchestrationDockerKubernetes (AKS preferred)Monitoring & ObservabilityExperience With One Or MoreSplunkDynatracePrometheusGrafanaAutomation & ScriptingPythonBashOperating SystemsStrong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.Production SupportExperience supporting production environments.Oncall support and incident management.Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Performance troubleshooting.Preferred SkillsExperience with Databricks.Azure DevOps experience.Cloud security and governance.Agile/Scrum environment.Azure Landing Zone implementation.Helm or GitOps exposure is an added advantage.Preferred QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Microsoft Azure Certification (AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent).Terraform Associate Certification.Candidate ProfileWe are looking for candidates who have handson implementation experience in Azure Cloud, Terraform, and CI/CD, rather than candidates with only operational or basic exposure.
