Lead I - Frontend Dev

As a Senior Front End Engineer at UST, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high performance web applications using React.JS, JavaScript, and modern CSS/UI frameworks. You will collaborate closely with UX and product teams to ensure exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.JS and JavaScript. - Implement reusable UI components and ensure cross browser compatibility. - Work with CSS, UI kits, and design systems to create visually appealing interfaces. - Collaborate with designers and backend teams for seamless integration. - Optimize application performance and accessibility. - Write clean, maintainable code, and conduct code reviews. - Troubleshoot and resolve front end issues in production environments. - Document technical designs and mentor junior developers. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of overall software development experience; 5+ years in front end development. - Strong proficiency in React.JS and JavaScript. - Expertise in CSS, UI frameworks, and responsive design principles. - Familiarity with RESTful API integration. - Knowledge of Git, CI/CD tools, and modern front end build tools (Webpack, Babel). - Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Skills: - Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API). - Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha). - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Basic understanding of accessibility standards and SEO best practices.
