Lead I - Software Testing- Automation Test Engineer (Playwright, TypeScript)

Role Description We are seeking a talented Automation Test Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test solutions to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. - Execute automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites. - Analyse test results and identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define appropriate test coverage. - Implement QA best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes. - Troubleshoot automation issues and perform root-cause analysis. - Ensure test environments and test data are properly prepared for automated execution. - Provide regular reporting on - Test progress - Test coverage - Defect metrics - Overall product quality Essential Skills & Experience - Minimum 5+ years of experience in automation testing. - Proven experience working as an Automation Test Engineer. - Solid hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript. - Good knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and modern test automation practices. - Strong programming skills in TypeScript and/or C#. - Solid understanding of - Software testing principles - Testing methodologies - Test design techniques - Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps. - Experience with API testing tools such as: - Postman - REST Assured - Playwright API Testing - Experience validating integrations with third-party verification providers and compliance systems (desirable). - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
