As an Automation QA Tester specializing in Playwright and TypeScript, your role is crucial in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will collaborate with various teams to streamline testing processes and drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities include: - Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks and scripts using Playwright and TypeScript. - Executing automated regression, functional, integration, and end-to-end test suites. - Analyzing test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure appropriate test coverage. - Implementing QA best practices and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. - Troubleshooting automation issues and performing root-cause analysis. - Ensuring proper preparation of test environments and test data for automated execution. - Providing reporting on test progress, coverage, defect metrics, and product quality. - Supporting CI/CD automation execution within Azure DevOps pipelines. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5+ years of automation testing experience, preferably in SaaS, FinTech, RegTech, or compliance platforms. - Proven experience as an Automation Tester or QA Automation Engineer. - Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript. - Good knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and modern test automation practices. - Strong programming skills in TypeScript and/or C. - Proficiency in software testing principles, methodologies, and test design techniques. - Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing. - Desirable experience in validating integrations with third-party verification providers and compliance systems. - Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
