Lead II - Software Engineering - React

Job Description – Senior Front-End Engineer (React.js) Experience: 10+ Years Location: Hyderbad Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview We are looking for a passionate Senior Front-End Engineer to build modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications for a global eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Next.js , and cloud-native application development, with experience leading engineering teams and building responsive user interfaces that serve millions of users. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern, responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js . Build reusable, scalable, and high-performance UI components using modern design systems. Develop and optimize Progressive Web Applications (PWA) with a focus on performance, scalability, and accessibility. Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality user experiences. Develop and maintain RESTful API and GraphQL integrations. Implement unit tests using Jest and React Testing Library . Optimize application performance, debugging, and front-end architecture. Follow Agile development practices and participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions. Mentor junior developers and establish front-end development best practices. Contribute to architectural decisions, coding standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices for application deployment.

Required Skills

10+ years of experience in Front-End Development . Strong expertise in React.js , JavaScript , TypeScript , HTML5, and CSS3. Minimum 2+ years of experience with Next.js . Experience developing cloud-native applications, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) . Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL . Experience with Redux , state management, and component-based architecture. Hands-on experience with React Testing Library , Jest , and unit testing. Experience with Storybook and component-driven development. Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA), and performance optimization. Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software development best practices. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

Experience with Material UI (MUI v5) . Experience with Figma , Storybook, and design systems. Knowledge of microservices architecture. Experience with MongoDB , SQL, or GraphQL queries. Familiarity with Redis , MemoryStore, or similar caching technologies. Experience in Retail or eCommerce applications. Knowledge of security and compliance standards such as SOX, PCI-DSS, PII, HIPAA, and CCPA .

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience leading distributed engineering teams across multiple locations.
