Job Description Software Test Engineer (Manual + Automation) Job Title: Software Test Engineer (Manual & Automation) Experience Range: 6+ Years Hiring Location: TBD Must-Have Skills Experience: 6+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing. Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) , Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) , Agile , and Scrum methodologies. Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (Java/.NET) . Strong experience with Playwright (TypeScript/JavaScript) . Experience using Katalon Studio . Strong programming skills in Java with exposure to TypeScript/JavaScript . Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using: TestNG / JUnit Page Object Model (POM) Data-Driven Framework Hybrid Framework Keyword-Driven Framework Strong manual testing expertise in: Functional Testing Regression Testing Integration Testing Smoke Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) End-to-End Testing Experience testing: Enterprise Web Applications Distributed Systems eCommerce Applications REST/SOAP Web Services Data & Application Integration SOA-based Solutions API testing using Postman , REST Assured , or similar tools. Database testing and SQL validation. Experience with defect and test management tools: JIRA Azure DevOps TestRail Version control using Git , GitHub , or Bitbucket . Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using: Jenkins Azure DevOps GitHub Actions Harness Strong analytical, troubleshooting, debugging, and defect management skills. Experience preparing and managing test data across multiple environments. Ability to coordinate testing activities across onshore and offshore teams. Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, System, API, UI, and End-to-End testing. Prepare and validate test data across environments. Log, track, verify, and resolve defects with development teams. Execute REST API and backend validation testing. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines. Monitor testing progress and communicate quality metrics and release readiness. Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and Production Support teams.
