Lead II - Software Testing

Experience: 7–10 Years Location: Trivandrum (Thiruvananthapuram) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in test automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Selenium-based automation, API testing, and automation framework development using Java. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality through robust automated testing strategies and CI/CD integration. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Java and Selenium. Develop and execute automated test scripts for web applications. Perform API automation testing using Rest Assured. Validate REST APIs for functionality, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies. Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze test execution results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues. Participate in sprint planning, test estimation, and Agile ceremonies. Ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices across the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills

7–10 years of experience in Software Testing and QA Automation. Strong programming skills in Java . Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for UI automation. Strong experience in Rest Assured for API automation testing. Solid understanding of REST API concepts and web services testing. Experience in designing and maintaining automation frameworks. Knowledge of test execution, reporting, and defect management tools. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. Knowledge of test reporting frameworks and automation best practices. Exposure to cloud environments and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and mentor junior team members.
