About the role
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies with a focus on electromechanical enclosures. Create and manage CAD models, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design standards. Apply GD&T principles and SPI standards for plastic design. Collaborate with plastic tool makers and injection molders to ensure Design for Manufacturability (DFM) requirements. Generate innovative concepts and provide creative solutions to complex design challenges. Conduct structural analysis of molded parts and ensure compliance with performance requirements. Perform DFMEA and implement good design practices throughout the product lifecycle. Support rapid prototyping and validate designs through iterative testing. Work closely with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Minimum Experience: 4+ years in mechanical design engineering. CAD Expertise: Highly proficient in CAD tools with specific experience in Creo . Strong knowledge of part design , GD&T , and SPI standards for plastics. Proven experience in electromechanical enclosure design . In-depth understanding of DFM , DFA , and DFMEA methodologies. Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative design concepts. Strong mechanical engineering fundamentals and structural analysis capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with injection molding processes and plastic tool makers. Familiarity with industry best practices for mechanical design and manufacturing.
