Sr. Testers - Mobile Applications

UST is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and collaborative QA Engineer / Tester with strong experience in mobile application testing. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of QA processes and methodologies, along with excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and technical teams. Key Responsibilities

Perform manual testing of mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms Execute functional, usability, regression, and exploratory testing Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders on test design and test case preparation Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, and blockers Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools Support test planning and execution for mobile releases Participate in sprint reviews/demos and assist in obtaining stakeholder sign-off Contribute to process improvements and overall product quality Develop scripts for mobile automation testing (nice to have)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance At least 1+ year of hands-on experience in mobile application testing Automated testing experience an advantage but not required Strong understanding of mobile testing concepts (e.g., network behavior, performance, UI responsiveness) Familiarity with Android Studio, Xcode, or similar testing tools Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Experience collaborating directly with client stakeholders Solid experience in requirements analysis, validation, and test design Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience with JIRA and Confluence Amenable to work hybrid and mid-shift schedule
