QA Test Engineer

Role Overview: As an experienced Software QA & Testing Engineer, you will be a crucial part of the team responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through robust manual and automated testing processes. You will lead the testing efforts, identifying and resolving issues, optimizing performance, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and verifying scalability and resiliency of software capabilities under load. You will also be involved in implementing AI-powered testing methodologies to improve coverage and proactively identify issues, contributing to the innovation of the testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define test objectives. Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and exit criteria aligned with Agile frameworks for CI/CD processes. - Perform detailed manual testing on new features, functional flows, and regression cases. Conduct exploratory testing for edge-case scenarios and ensure test data coverage. - Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web and mobile applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright. Write reusable automated test scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. - Conduct cross-browser testing on modern browsers using tools like BrowserStack, Lambdatest. Validate software compatibility across various operating systems and devices. - Design and execute performance, scalability, and stress tests for high-traffic systems. Monitor application response time, throughput, and behavior under heavy load scenarios. - Utilize AI-powered test case generation tools for smarter and faster test cases. Work with AI-based tools for visual regression testing and defect identification. - Identify, document, and track bugs using bug-tracking tools. Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects. - Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test execution reports. Generate test metrics and quality reports to update stakeholders on system quality and testing progress. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 46 years of experience in a Software QA role with a track record of delivering high-quality software products. - Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, manual and automation testing standards, and testing tools. - Hands-on experience with automation testing frameworks, cross-browser testing tools, and performance testing tools. - Familiarity with API testing tools, test management tools, version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tools. - Experience with AI-enhanced testing tools and methodologies. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, excellent communication skills, and ability to work in Agile environments. - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or Java is a plus.
