Contract Engineer Embedded Mid
Primary Location : San Jose, California
V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Contract Engineer Embedded Mid for our premier client in San Jose, California.
Knowledge and Skills:
Perform DO-178C SOI-2 certification reviews.
System, High-Level Requirements (HLR) and Low-Level Requirements (LLR) Authoring for Networking and TSN.
Required Technical Skills
DO-178C lifecycle
TSN Knowledge
IEEE 802.1AS (gPTP/PTP)
IEEE 802.1Qbv, Qav, VLAN
Traffic Classes/Queue Scheduling
Embedded Software
Embedded C/ Linux
RTOS/Device Drivers
Networking
Ethernet /VLAN /Layer-2 Switching
Socket Programming
TCP/IP fundamentals
What You’ll DO

Job Responsibilities:

Review bidirectional requirements traceability.

Evaluate software coding standards compliance.

Review derived requirements.

Work closely with software, systems, FPGA, and certification teams.
