About the role
Role & responsibilities The BIM MEP Engineer will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining 3D MEP models and construction-ready drawings for building projects, ensuring accurate integration of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting services. This role directly supports design coordination, reduction of site rework, and cost control by delivering high-quality, clash-free BIM outputs aligned with project timelines. You will act as a key link between design, BIM coordination, and site execution teams. Preferred candidate profile 3-6 years of hands-on experience as BIM MEP Engineer or MEP Modeler working on building projects (HVAC/Electrical/Plumbing/Fire-fighting) in India Strong proficiency in creating and modifying 3D MEP models and coordinated services layouts using Revit MEP Practical understanding of MEP services design concepts, routing principles, and basic sizing (ducts, pipes, cable trays) as per Indian standards and codes Proven experience in clash detection and coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP models using Navisworks or similar tools Ability to prepare detailed shop drawings, sleeve and opening layouts, and coordinated services drawings suitable for site execution Good reading and interpretation skills of consultant drawings, tender drawings, and technical specifications Experience in preparing MEP quantity take-offs / BOQs from BIM models with reasonable accuracy Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal design team, site engineers, and external consultants/clients
