About the role
Job Title: CQV Engineer Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite) Duration: 12 months (with potential extension)
Project Overview: This role supports the expansion of a Plasma Fractionation facility focused on producing plasma-derived therapies for rare immunodeficiency diseases. The client is repurposing an existing building and utility infrastructure to scale operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) activities for retrofit and expansion projects
Execute protocols and troubleshoot equipment used in plasma and biologics manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
Oversee installation and qualification of process equipment and utility systems
Must-Have Experience:
Strong background in plasma or biologics manufacturing
Hands-on experience with facility retrofits or expansions
Expertise in fractionation and downstream purification processes
Equipment Involved:
Centrifuges, filter presses, CIP/SIP systems
Fractionation skids
Chromatography systems
Fluid handling systems
Both single-use and stainless-steel processing systems
