Role Overview
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering to lead and support high-impact projects within our Advanced Manufacturing Engineering group. This role focuses on driving process improvements, ensuring product quality, and delivering cost-effective solutions across complex and large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment and Fixturing: Define manufacturing requirements and specify equipment, fixtures, and process parameters.
Qualification and Validation: Develop and execute equipment qualifications and process validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) to ensure repeatability and stability.
Continuous Improvement & Cost Analysis: Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing methods, optimize product performance, and reduce costs. Partner with Finance to perform detailed cost analyses of changes and cost reduction projects.
Production Support & Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing operations and resolve issues arising on the production floor.
Work Design & Layout Optimization: Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to design and implement efficient layouts, workflows, and product flows.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain work instructions, validation protocols, and other required technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong background in continuous improvement and cost analysis .
Proven expertise in production support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving .
Hands-on experience with IQ, OQ, PQ validations .
Skilled in developing and optimizing manufacturing layouts, workflows, and product flows .
Proficiency in work instruction documentation .
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies .
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field); Master’s preferred.
5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing engineering.
