Job Title: System Test Engineer Location: St. Paul, MN
Experience: 3 - 5+ Years Duration: 12+ months Contract
Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented System Test Engineer to join our Systems Verification team. This role offers the chance to contribute to advanced projects in motion control and robotics while building strong engineering skills. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, gain hands-on testing experience, and support system-level validation in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Execute system-level tests and analyze results to support product development.
Develop and validate test methods for motion control and robotic systems.
Contribute to fixture design using ECAD/MCAD tools.
Support cross-functional teams across hardware, software, and electrical engineering.
Write scripts and tools in LabVIEW and Python to automate testing and data collection.
Document test procedures, results, and findings accurately and clearly.
Collaborate with senior engineers on test planning and execution.
Participate in design and requirements reviews.
Learn and apply FDA regulatory and ISO standards.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives and technical reviews.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Software, Mechanical, Biomedical) or related field.

Basic understanding of system testing and development lifecycle.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to work well within a team as well as independently.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

Prior experience in design verification testing.

Exposure to medical device development or other regulated environments.

Familiarity with programming (LabVIEW, Python) and design tools (Altium, SolidWorks).
