About the Role
We are hiring Senior Test Specialists (Testing Specialist III) to support both mobile and web platforms , with a strong focus on mobile applications (iOS and Android) . This is a senior-level role that blends manual and automated testing expertise , with hands-on experience in Perfecto or Appium , and automation skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript .
A key requirement is Accessibility Testing . You will use tools like AXE DevTools for mobile and apply WCAG 2.1 standards to ensure full accessibility compliance. The role plays a critical part in meeting industry accessibility requirements by April 2026 , with the first compliance phase targeted for December 2025 .
You will work in an Agile/Scrum environment , assigned tasks through Jira, collaborating with a team of 10–15 engineers, and driving high-quality, accessible software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute manual and automated testing across complex projects and platforms.
Design and maintain test strategies, plans, data, and environments .
Collaborate with product, architecture, and development teams to refine requirements.
Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and accessibility testing .
Use AXE DevTools and accessibility frameworks to ensure WCAG compliance.
Identify high-risk areas and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage end-to-end test execution , ensuring timelines and quality benchmarks are met.
Track and report test results, ensuring compliance with standards.
Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvements.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years in QA/software testing with strong automation background .
Hands-on expertise with Perfecto or Appium for mobile testing.
Automation scripting in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript .
Solid foundation in manual testing, SDLC, and QA methodologies .
Strong knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and compliance practices.
Experience with AXE DevTools for mobile or similar accessibility tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in remote/hybrid setups.
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
Education & Certifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field , or equivalent work experience.
ISTQB, CSTE, or other QA certifications preferred.
