Electrical Engineer

Entry level knowledge within the Electrical Engineering discipline with the capabilities and the initiative to perform tasks with supervisory/mentor assistance as required Ability to learn technical skills and assist with low & medium power distribution design and layout Become familiar with and assist with substation design, short circuit analysis, and ARC flash studies Assist with development of wiring diagrams and schematics Assist with electrical calculations including short circuit, load flow, arc flash, motor starting, harmonic, device coordination, and voltage drop Design conduit, cable tray, and underground duct bank Verify field conditions as needed Learn P&ID development Become familiar with instrumentation selection and specifications Assist with instrument loop diagrams, location plans, and installations details Learn the development of sequence of operation and functional description documents
