Assistant Manager, Research and Development

Job Description: As a Product Technical Leader at Valeo, you will be accountable for the deliverables of the project. Your responsibilities will include: - Applying the specific PDP of your following CPM (CLEAN Project Management) - Ensuring robust design in line with the economical targets - Applying Standardization rules, with exceptions based on sound justifications - Calling for all necessary design reviews - Ensuring timely Design Reviews of other networks (Purchase, Industrial) - Representing the R&D function at the customer interface - Breaking down and cascading internally customer requests and needs - Reporting and escalating to your project manager or R&D manager as needed - Managing detailed scheduling and budgeting - Identifying needs in terms of resources, equipments, investments - Establishing a detailed breakdown of activities to meet milestones - Monitoring activities and spending within your scope to meet the allocated budget - Managing the contributors on a daily basis, assigning work packages as needed - Regularly reviewing with your R&D manager or Product Manager and Discipline Department Managers to ensure alignment between needs and availabilities Join Us!
