About the role
As a Mechatronics Engineer at Valeo, your primary mission is to provide design and CAD support for mechatronics products in alignment with established standards and processes. Your key responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating awareness of mechatronics parts and their functions - Understanding IP regulations and utilizing sealing technologies to ensure compliance - Adhering to clearance and creepage norms - Familiarity with processes involved in the assembly of electronics products - Implementing EMI and corresponding EMC approaches to address electromagnetic interference - Designing connectors and bus bars - Managing thermal management in electronics - Developing components in accordance with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) requirements - Applying geometric functional annotations and validating them through stackup analysis - Providing design support for prototype samples and assisting in testing/process fixtures - Ensuring quality checks are performed before delivery - Contributing to efficiency improvements through the implementation of fast or automated processes - Ensuring product robustness and applying relevant standards - Utilizing standards and methodologies to arrive at realistic design solutions - Collaborating with experts or networks when necessary - Managing connections with other networks and seeking hierarchical support when required - Securing all necessary inputs (technical or cost-related) to achieve right-first-time results In summary, your role as a Mechatronics Engineer at Valeo will involve designing products that meet mechatronics requirements while ensuring compliance with industry standards and processes.
