As an Architect in Test Automation at ValGenesis, you will play a crucial role in driving the automation strategy and developing robust test frameworks for next-generation cloud products. Responsibilities: - Lead the design and architecture of automated testing frameworks for various application platforms, including web and mobile. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation in the development lifecycle. - Establish and maintain best practices for test automation and quality assurance processes. - Mentor and guide team members in test automation practices and frameworks. - Define and track key performance metrics for testing efforts and continually optimize processes for efficiency and effectiveness. - Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate them into automation practices. - Own and be accountable for the quality and reliability of automated testing deliverables. Requirements: - 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation, with a strong focus on automation frameworks and strategy. - Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java. - Extensive experience in UI and API testing, along with performance and security testing methodologies. - Strong expertise in building and implementing scalable automation frameworks, preferably using open-source tools. - Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD methodologies to facilitate integrated testing efforts. - Exceptional analytical skills with a deep understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of the life sciences industry and compliance standards is a plus.
