Junior Functional Consultant ( BA) Location: Porur, Chennai (Work from Office) Experience: 02 Years Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Junior ERPNext Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates and professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are passionate about business processes, ERP solutions, and client consulting. As a Junior Functional Consultant, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams to understand business requirements, configure ERPNext solutions, support implementations, and ensure successful project delivery. You will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology while delivering exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities Understand client business processes and gather functional requirements through meetings and workshops. Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and solution documents. Configure and support ERPNext modules based on client requirements. Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, user stories, and functional documentation. Coordinate with the development team to communicate business requirements and validate delivered solutions. Perform gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with ERPNext best practices. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and deployment activities. Conduct client demonstrations, end-user training, and knowledge transfer sessions. Assist in data migration, system testing, and post-implementation support. Maintain project documentation and ensure timely communication with internal teams and clients. Build strong client relationships by delivering professional and consultative support throughout the implementation lifecycle. Required SkillsFunctional Skills Basic understanding of Business Analysis and business process mapping. Knowledge of ERP concepts and enterprise business processes. Familiarity with requirement gathering, documentation, and solution analysis. Understanding of SDLC, Agile, or Scrum methodologies is preferred. Knowledge of Finance, HR, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, or CRM business processes is an added advantage. Communication & Consulting Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills are mandatory. Strong business communication and professional email etiquette. Confident in interacting with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. Excellent presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills. Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management abilities. Ability to explain business processes and system functionalities clearly. Analytical Skills Strong logical reasoning and analytical thinking. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new business domains and technologies. Preferred Technical Knowledge Basic understanding of ERPNext or other ERP platforms (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Oracle, Odoo, etc.) is preferred. Knowledge of SQL fundamentals is an advantage. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience with Jira, Trello, or project management tools is a plus. Eligibility Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. MBA (Business Analytics/Operations/IT) is an added advantage. Freshers with outstanding communication skills and a strong interest in ERP consulting are encouraged to apply.
