About the role
Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Tester to support testing and quality assurance activities for web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have experience in manual testing, regression testing, API validation, and bug reporting. This role involves direct interaction with clients, so excellent verbal and written English communication skills are mandatory. Key Responsibilities - Perform manual testing of web applications and newly released features. - Execute regression testing after each release or enhancement. - Validate application functionality against test cases. - Identify, document, and track bugs and defects. - Test and validate REST APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger. - Verify JSON responses and data accuracy. - Maintain detailed test execution reports (Pass/Fail, defects, observations). - Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and resolve issues. - Ensure data quality and application stability across releases. Required Skills - 1-5 years of experience in Manual QA Testing. - Experience in Web Application Testing. - Good understanding of Regression Testing. - Hands-on experience with API Testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools. - Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON. - Experience in bug reporting and defect tracking. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good knowledge of test case execution and documentation. - Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets for test tracking. Educational Qualification - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (B.Tech/B.E./BCA/B.Sc. IT/MCA). - Candidates with relevant QA experience and robust technical skills are also encouraged to apply.
