Sr Data Scientist

You will be working as a Sr. Data Scientist with a top German MNC based in Bangalore. The company is a global leader in automotive technology, industrial technology, consumer goods, energy, and building technology. They are focused on innovative mobility concepts, clean energy solutions, and creating a connected ecosystem within the shared economy to shape the future of mobility. Role Overview: - Collaborate with stakeholders from different business units to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions. - Utilize advanced statistical methods to mine, analyze, and discover hidden patterns in data to provide critical insights. - Develop customized ML/AI algorithms tailored to specific customer requirements. - Create reusable AI/GenAI/ML/Statistical models that can be scaled across multiple businesses with minimal customization. - Translate analytic insights into actionable recommendations for business and product improvement. - Partner with product and engineering leaders throughout project lifecycles to ensure well-defined analytic needs and data capture. - Independently manage products/projects and provide technical guidance to team members. - Develop dashboards using tools like PowerBI to share algorithm results with end users. - Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills to convey clear, actionable stories with data to individuals at various levels within the company. - Provide technical directions to junior team members, assign tasks appropriately, and mentor them technically. Key Responsibilities: - Expertise in cutting-edge technologies in deep learning, machine learning, and AI in areas such as supply chain analytics, sales domain, manufacturing analytics, and computer vision. - Proficiency in Python and experience in data preparation, preprocessing, feature selection, imputation, cleansing, and transformation. - Hands-on experience in data exploration techniques and machine learning algorithms including regression, classification, clustering, support vector machine, decision tree, random forest, and neural networks. - Knowledge of DOE, forecasting, segmentation, and uncertainty analysis. - Experience in developing APIs and web applications using Flask/Django will be beneficial. - Familiarity with model deployment in Azure/AWS and deployment tools like Docker, CI & CD. Qualifications Required: - Master's degree from reputed Indian institutes in Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or related fields. This role requires a strong technical background in advanced statistical methods, machine learning, and AI, with hands-on experience in data analysis, algorithm development, and model deployment.
