Blender Python Scripting Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Write and optimize Blender Python scripts for custom tool development Integrate new scripts with existing Blender add-ons while ensuring compatibility and avoiding conflicts Improve runtime performance by profiling and tuning computationally intensive scripts Manage the full lifecycle of Blender add-ons, including registration, updates, and unloading Work closely with artists and developers to ensure usability, functionality, and performance Debug and maintain existing tools to ensure reliability in production environments Requirements: Proven experience with Blender's Python API and scripting environment Strong understanding of Blender add-on architecture, registration, and lifecycle management Proficient in profiling and optimizing Python code within Blender Familiarity with performance bottlenecks related to geometry processing, modifiers, and UI responsiveness Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a creative and technical environment
