Automation test engineer

We are looking for candidates with strong knowledge on API Testing, Web Testing. Manual Testing, ReadyAPI Tool (Primary) - High • Understand the QA & QE requirements of a project Communicate with project stakeholders, clients, and different vendor teams, Prepare test plan and test strategy Review test cases Plan for test automation. Work with Team Leads, developers, automation team, DBAs, Build Engineers, and Product managers to be able to contribute on the software test strategy • Create and maintain test cases on the test case management tool. • Consult with product development team to evaluate functionality, Create extremely detailed bugs on the bug tracking system and follow up on the status of those Work with team leads to contribute on the maintenance of test environments Provide testing level of effort estimates out of the requirements and commit to the deadlines while reporting on a promptly manner if issues arise that will impact the deadlines Work on the testing of the products while following the process and procedures that are unique to our company. • We prefer to over communicate and the Read all emails at the beginning of the day with the instructions for the assigned tasks and the latest events that happened on the headquarters Works with team leads to find the root cause analysis when issues are found on production or late in the process • Assist the automation team to clarify any questions that might arise from the test cases to be automated Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using ReadyAPI (SoapUI Pro) • Perform API testing, including REST and SOAP web services validation. • Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks for API testing. Integrate API tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.). Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify and resolve defects. Conduct performance, security, and functional testing of APIs. Generate test reports and analyze test results to ensure application stability. • Work with tools like Postman, JMeter, SQL, and Groovy scripting for advanced API testing. Ensure best practices in API automation, including version control and documentation. • Extensive testing experience in API, Database. Also having skill of troubleshooting and preliminary checks. • Extensive testing experience in Ready API/Rest Assured 5+ years of experience in QA Automation testing, using tools: Rest Assured, Ready API, and frameworks: BDD, DataDriven, TestNG . • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or Groovy. • Should have knowledge on Agile process Should have knowledge on bug tracking tool Jira/ADO Should have the capability to interface with the clients • Excellent analytical skills and detail-oriented is a must Great level of initiative that demonstrates self-management while reporting on a daily basis on progress • Strong written and verbal communication skills to be able to describe issues in a technical manner and also in a business manner • We are looking for a skilled API Automation Tester with expertise in ReadyAPI to join our QA team. • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of APIs. • You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to identify test scenarios, automate test cases, and improve API testing processes.
