About the role
We are looking for a skilled PHP Full Stack Developer / Senior Integration Engineer with strong experience in upgrading, modernizing, and integrating legacy applications. The role involves hands-on development in PHP/Symfony, modern JavaScript frameworks, containerization, and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver stable and scalable solutions. Roles & Responsibilities: Develop and maintain applications using PHP 8.2+ and Symfony frameworks. Lead migration projects from legacy PHP/Symfony applications to modern versions. Build and integrate front-end components using React, Vue.js, or related ecosystems. Work on integrations involving C#.NET systems where required. Use Docker for building, deploying, and troubleshooting application containers. Implement and maintain automated testing including unit, functional, E2E, and smoke tests. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, environment setup, and deployment automation. Analyse legacy systems, identify technical debt, and plan modernization strategies. Reverse-engineer undocumented applications to understand and recover business logic. Manage dependency upgrades and replace outdated or unsupported packages. Create clear technical and functional documentation. Collaborate with business teams, participate in validation stages, and support compliance checkpoints. Strong skills in automated testing across different types. Good understanding of DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with legacy system analysis, reverse engineering, and modernization. Solid experience with dependency management tools and code quality tools (Rector, PHP-CS-Fixer, Composer Normalize, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work through ambiguity and handle complex migrations. Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Proactive and able to lead technical discussions.
