AWS Observability Engineer

3+ years of experience in monitoring and observability roles. Hands-on experience with Datadog and Dynatrace, including configuration, alerting, and troubleshooting. Strong understanding of cloud monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite). Experience with log management tools such as Splunk, ELK, or Grafana Loki. Proficiency in scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation. Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices monitoring. Experience with APM (Application Performance Monitoring) and synthetic monitoring. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Bicep). Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Certifications in Datadog, Dynatrace, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus. Key Responsibilities: Implement, and manage monitoring solutions using Datadog and Dynatrace. Develop dashboards, alerts, and reports to provide real-time insights into system health and performance. Integrate monitoring tools with cloud platforms (AWS,Azure, GCP) and on-premises environments. Set up proactive alerting mechanisms to detect and resolve performance issues before they impact business operations. Optimize logging and telemetry data to ensure efficient data collection and visualization. Collaborate with development, DevOps, and SRE teams to improve system observability. Analyze performance metrics and logs to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for optimization. Automate monitoring configurations and ensure continuous improvement of observability solutions. Ensure compliance and best practices in monitoring and incident response strategies.
