The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture, coupled with expertise in deploying, managing, and optimizing AWS services. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud-based solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization and clients. Responsibilities: Design, deploy, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, architect cloud-based solutions, and provide technical guidance and best practices. Implement automation and orchestration techniques to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management of cloud resources. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure performance, availability, and cost efficiency. Implement security best practices and compliance standards across all cloud environments. Continuously evaluate emerging AWS services, features, and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. Provide technical support and guidance to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle. Participate in on-call rotation and respond to incidents in a timely manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Cloud Platform Engineer, with a strong focus on AWS. In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS, and others. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and compliance standards in cloud environments. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless computing. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in distributed systems. Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
