The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with mandatory experience in UK Insurance or P&C Insurance domains. You will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and analytics teams to analyze complex datasets, generate actionable insights, automate reporting processes, and support data-driven business decisions. The role requires hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, data transformation, and cloud-based analytics environments. Responsibilities • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, business insights, and opportunities for operational improvements. • Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, procedures, and data extraction processes. • Utilize Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, and reporting activities. • Work with AWS cloud services and enterprise data platforms to support scalable analytics solutions. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytical requirements. • Design and develop reports, dashboards, KPIs, and business metrics for decision-making. • Perform data validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities across multiple data sources. • Interpret insurance business data and provide analytical recommendations aligned with business objectives. • Support data integration, migration, and reporting initiatives across enterprise projects. • Ensure proper documentation of data flows, business logic, and analytical processes. • Work closely with Data Engineering, QA, Product, and Business teams in Agile environments. • Support production issues, troubleshooting, and enhancement activities related to reporting and analytics. Requirements • 4–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst / Senior Data Analyst. • Strong hands-on expertise in Python and SQL. • Experience working with AWS cloud technologies and analytics environments. • Mandatory experience in UK Insurance or P&C Insurance domain. • Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting, and data transformation concepts. • Experience handling large datasets and complex business reporting requirements. • Good understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments. • Ability to effectively collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders. • High attention to detail, data quality, and reporting accuracy. Good To Have • Experience with Power BI or Tableau • Knowledge of ETL and data integration processes • AWS Certification and cloud analytics exposure • Understanding of insurance business workflows and processes • Exposure to enterprise reporting and dashboarding solutions • Agile knowledge and experience
