About the role
Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Node.js Architect with strong expertise in designing scalable backend platforms, cloud-native applications, and enterprise-grade microservices architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate should possess deep knowledge in Node.js ecosystem, API architecture, CI/CD automation, Git branching strategies, distributed systems, and application scalability. Exposure to enterprise workflow and business rules engines such as Camunda and FICO Blaze Advisor will be an added advantage. Key Responsibilities : - Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Node.js (Express.js / NestJS) and TypeScript following enterprise architecture standards - Define and implement clean architecture patterns, domain-driven design principles, and microservices-based solutions for enterprise applications - Design and govern Git branching strategies, release management processes, and code integration standards across multiple teams and repositories - Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and containerized deployment strategies for automated build, test, and deployment workflows - Design and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, API Gateway, and Cloud Storage - Provide architectural guidance on PostgreSQL schema design, database scalability, query optimization, indexing, and transaction management - Implement enterprise-grade security practices including JWT, OAuth2, RBAC, secrets management, and secure API design - Drive observability practices including centralized logging, distributed tracing, monitoring, audit logging, and performance analysis across distributed systems - Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and business teams to define technical roadmaps and solution strategies aligned with business goals - Mentor development teams on best practices related to Node.js architecture, coding standards, cloud-native development, and DevOps automation - Evaluate and recommend modern technologies, frameworks, and architecture approaches to improve system scalability, reliability, and maintainability - Work closely with stakeholders to support architecture governance, technical reviews, estimation, and solution planning activities Required Skills : - Strong experience in Node.js with JavaScript/TypeScript and to frameworks such as Express.js, NestJS, or equivalent backend platforms - Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale microservices and event-driven architectures - Deep understanding of Git branching models, release management, pull request workflows, and repository governance - Hands-on experience in CI/CD implementation using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins - Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes / GKE - Solid understanding of PostgreSQL including schema design, indexing, performance tuning, and transaction handling - Experience with Redis caching, asynchronous messaging, and distributed system design patterns - Strong exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and cloud-native architecture principles - Experience implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth2, and RBAC - Knowledge of centralized logging, monitoring, observability, and production support practices in distributed systems Good to Have : - Knowledge or Implementation India Health care (Claims) - Experience with Camunda Workflow / BPM Engine - Exposure to enterprise workflow orchestration and business process automation platforms - Knowledge of architecture governance, solution reviews, and enterprise integration patterns Soft Skills : - Strong architectural thinking and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities - Ability to drive technical discussions and mentor engineering teams - Strong collaboration skills across cross-functional and distributed teams - Experience working in Agile / Scrum delivery environments Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced Node.js Architect with strong expertise in designing scalable backend platforms, cloud-native applications, and enterprise-grade microservices architectures on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
