Test Analyst _(Selenium) (Chennai)

We are looking for a skilled Test Analyst with expertise in gathering and analyzing business requirements, assessing impacts, and executing test automation for high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have experience in Agile environments, test automation using Selenium, and performance and security testing methodologies. Responsibilities: - Gather and analyze business requirements and assess the impact of new workflows. - Perform testing for high-performance web applications to ensure functionality and reliability. - Work in Agile projects and implement test automation using Selenium, writing scripts in Java. - Integrate Selenium RC with TestNG for automated testing. - Conduct white-box testing to evaluate internal structures and logic. - Understand and document testing requirements, create and review test cases, and execute test plans. - Prepare and submit detailed test reports to stakeholders. - Utilize open-source performance testing tools such as JMeter. - Conduct database-related testing and ensure data integrity. - Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities. - Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical audiences. - Provide mentorship and resolve conflicts within the team. Requirements: - Hands-on experience in test automation and white-box testing. - Strong knowledge of Selenium, Java, and Agile methodologies. - Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter. - Understanding of database and security testing. - Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. - Solid interpersonal skills and ability to mentor team members. - Experience in the E-commerce domain is a plus. .
