About the role
As an IT Project Engineer at Toyota Automated Logistics (TAL), you will be responsible for delivering IT projects and providing technical guidance to teams. Your role will involve working with cloud concepts, particularly experience with Azure cloud. You should have a good understanding of end-to-end IT infrastructure architecture, including server environments such as Linux and Microsoft Windows Server (Server 2016 R2, 2019) and Client OS (Windows 10). Possessing MCSA & RHCSA certifications will be beneficial. Specific experience with Nagios OP5mon and other IT monitoring tools will be advantageous. Additionally, experience in monitoring and resolving hardware issues related to server & client hardware, particularly HP Server hardware, is desired. Your role may also involve knowledge of Networks & Cisco technologies, as well as experience with VEEAM or other backup products. You will be responsible for monitoring the health of Datacentres worldwide and taking corrective actions, supporting virtualization & network-related topics, and maintaining the local inventory of hardware & software. Given the fast-paced 24X7 environment, you should have good time management skills, solid communication skills, and the ability to respond quickly. Hands-on experience in providing end-user support in a high availability, mission-critical support operation will be valuable, with Managed Services Support experience considered a plus. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. Having a strong technical knowledge across a range of IT areas, including hardware, software, networks, and security, is essential. ITIL or other IT service management certifications will be a bonus.
