Manager, IT Delivery

As the Manager, IT Delivery at our company, you will be responsible for managing and leading a team of technical support staff to design, develop, test, implement, and monitor software and tools. Your role will involve collaborating with business leaders to define scope and requirements, planning and executing the development of various systems, and acting as a liaison with business sponsors and principals. Additionally, you will lead cross-functional teams, manage project risks and resources, and integrate cybersecurity best practices to ensure secure and successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, provide guidance, training, and set performance standards - Deliver software releases for business units, determine scope, and develop environmental requirements - Develop and implement staffing and operational plans, monitor service delivery metrics, and report performance - Implement changes to department policies and procedures, identify opportunities for continuous improvement - Lead quality initiatives, participate in the development of department budget, and ensure compliance with IT and information security policies - Lead cross-functional teams, identify risks, develop project plans, manage budgets, and enhance cybersecurity frameworks Qualifications and Skills: - Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, software development, or IT service delivery with previous leadership experience - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; PMP, ITIL, or Agile certifications preferred - Mid-Level Developer understanding and hands-on experience with Java/Python, AWS Services, CI/CD Pipelines, TDD/BDD practices - User level understanding of Splunk, Honeycomb, Cloud Watch, Open Telemetry, Confluence, and JIRA - Ability to leverage AI-assisted engineering tools effectively, high level understanding of automated testing concepts - Strong expertise in IT project management, Agile methodologies, SDLC best practices, and IT infrastructure - Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, IT governance, cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance standards - Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management skills - Must have skills in Node.js, TypeScript, ECS, Kubernetes, Kore.AI, Android, iOS development This role is based in Hyderabad, Telangana at Vanguards India office.
