Sr. Analyst - Data Scientist

As a data scientist joining the Data Analytics team, your role is crucial in helping the company make informed business decisions based on data. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Performing statistical analyses, exploratory data analysis, and data research - Studying data thoroughly, running custom SQL queries, and identifying patterns and trends - Providing robust insights, analysis, and analytical reporting to interpret results - Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders - Proactively learning new skills as per business requirements - Extracting relevant data, cleansing and transforming it into insights that drive business value - Utilizing data analytics, data visualization, and data modeling techniques effectively Qualifications and Education Requirements: - Technical Bachelor's Degree, preferably in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or engineering Preferred Skills: - Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and pattern detection - Expertise in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning techniques - Strong proficiency in Python & R, MS Azure Machine Learning Studio, AWS, or Google Cloud - Knowledge of data science toolkits such as R, NumPy, and MatLab - Ability to write computer programs and analyze large datasets in languages like Python, Java, R, and SQL - Strong data storytelling and communication skills for a non-technical audience - Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills - Business acumen to connect with stakeholders and understand their challenges - Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across all levels of an organization - Critical thinking and inquisitiveness to find patterns and solutions within data - Experience in data mining, exploration, and analysis - Proficiency in storing and processing unstructured data with NoSQL databases and implementing machine learning algorithms - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in output - Advanced knowledge of SQL and Excel - Proficiency in Data Visualization preferably with MS PowerBI - Keeping up to date with the latest tools and trends in the industry Work Experience: - 3 years of relevant experience with strong domain knowledge Additional Notes: - Ready to work in shifts As a data scientist joining the Data Analytics team, your role is crucial in helping the company make informed business decisions based on data.
