Essential Job Functions: Deployment: Perform Red Hat OpenShift deployments using Agent-based installers and HCP (Hosted Control Planes). OpenShift Virtualization: Deploy and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) directly within OpenShift using KubeVirt; perform basic VM migrations and lifecycle management. Automation: Execute and modify Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, patching, and configuration management of Linux and Windows nodes. Operations: Support hybrid environments with knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V to assist in workload transitions. Troubleshooting: Provide Level 2 support for OpenShift cluster health, pod connectivity, and persistent storage issues. Qualifications : OpenShift: 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) and Kubernetes. Virtualization: Strong understanding of OpenShift Virtualization; functional knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V. Automation: Proficiency in Ansible (running playbooks, understanding YAML structures). OS: Solid administration skills in RHEL (Linux) and Windows Server. Certifications (Required): Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
