About the role
As an Instrumentation Engineer Maintenance, you will be responsible for the maintenance of field instruments in hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and conducting risk assessments for instrumentation systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, turnarounds, and shutdowns. - Maintaining and troubleshooting flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, level sensors, control valves, actuators, DCS, PLCs, and SCADA systems. - Utilizing SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for maintenance planning, scheduling, tracking, and generating reports. - Calibrating and testing field instrumentation to ensure operational accuracy using calibration tools and software. - Reviewing instrumentation engineering drawings, PIDs, and technical specifications. - Implementing safety practices and ensuring compliance with HSE regulations. - Conducting risk assessments and audits for instrumentation systems. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 15 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance within the oil and gas or petrochemical industry. - Extensive experience with hazardous environments and ATEX/IECEx compliance. - Proficiency in using SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) for maintenance planning and tracking. - In-depth experience with calibrating and testing field instrumentation. - Familiarity with calibration tools, reviewing engineering drawings, and technical specifications. - Expertise in safety practices, compliance with regulations, and risk assessments. - Certification as a Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is preferred.
