About the role
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather and document reporting and analytics requirements. Analyze Oracle ERP modules (e.g., Financials, Supply Chain, HCM) to identify data sources relevant to the reporting needs. Provide Data Warehouse teams with detailed metadata: table names, column names, joins, and relationships. Support dimensional modeling efforts by mapping ERP source data to fact and dimension structures. Work closely with data architects and modelers to ensure business logic and reporting needs are accurately reflected in the data warehouse design. Participate in data validation and testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Maintain up-to-date documentation on data mappings and functional specifications. Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle ERP modules within the data integration project. Assist in data quality improvement and governance initiatives. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Accounting, or related field. 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant, preferably with exposure to Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Fusion. In-depth knowledge of Oracle ERP modules (e.g., GL, AP, AR, PO, INV, OM). Strong understanding of Oracle ERP data structures and ability to extract metadata (tables, columns, joins). Experience working with Data Warehousing projects, especially dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas). Familiarity with reporting and BI tools such as Oracle BI, Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong analytical and documentation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across technical and business teams. Preferred Skills Experience with Oracle SQL or TOAD for querying ERP tables. Exposure to ETL tools Understanding of data governance, master data management, and data quality principles. Previous involvement in Agile/Scrum project environments.
