As a PCB Design Engineer, your role involves developing and validating PCB libraries in line with organizational standards. You will be responsible for performing schematic capture and ensuring design correctness. Your key responsibilities will include executing component placement considering electrical, DFA, and DFM constraints, developing power split plans, and ensuring robust design for power delivery. Additionally, you will carry out PCB routing with controlled impedance and length-tuning as required. Handling the complete post-Gerber process with fabrication and assembly readiness will also be part of your responsibilities. Moreover, defining and calculating layer stack-ups for various board designs and working with HDI technologies, including blind/buried vias and high-speed peripherals, are essential tasks. You are expected to apply DFX guidelines during design and carry out validation reviews to ensure compliance with SI/PI requirements through analysis and validation. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve design robustness and reliability is also a crucial aspect of your role.
