About the role
We're looking for an experienced and innovative engineer to drive vision and AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) projects across diverse manufacturing applications. What You'll Do: Understand customer needs and translate them into effective AOI solutions Develop and implement vision systems including camera setup, lighting, and custom algorithms Integrate vision systems with automation platforms ensuring seamless data flow Optimize defect detection algorithms and inspection logic Troubleshoot and resolve vision system issues in real-time Analyze results and continuously improve inspection accuracy, speed, and reliability Prepare technical documentation and maintain system standards Collaborate with vendors, OEMs, and internal teams for successful project execution What You Bring: Bachelor's in Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of hands-on experience in vision system development (preferably AOI) Solid understanding of computer vision, image processing, and machine learning Skilled in debugging and resolving system-level issues efficiently Familiarity with vision tools and platforms is a plus
