Machine Learning Engineer - Gen AI Specialist

About the Role vConstructs Data Science & Analytics team is expanding its Generative AI capability. Were looking for an AI Developer who can design, build and ship productionready solutions using large language models (LLMs), multimodal models and classic ML techniques (good to have). Youll join a collaborative group of AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Analysts transforming every stage of the construction lifecyclefrom preconstruction planning to posthandover operations—through automation and datadriven insights. What You’ll Do Prototyping – Frame GenAI use cases with experts; build quick LLM-based tools. Modeling – Fine-tune/prompt models; use ML/DS when GenAI isn’t ideal. Engineering – Deploy models as scalable Azure services with CI/CD. Collaboration – Work with cross-functional teams; document and demo solutions. Learning – Stay updated on GenAI trends; share knowledge internally. MustHave Qualifications Education – B.E./B.Tech or M.S. in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML or related field. Experience – ~5 years delivering production software or ML solutions, with at least 2 years handson with LLMs or other Gen AI models. Programming – Strong Python (FastAPI / LangChain / LangGraph); familiarity with TypeScript or C# a plus. Gen AI Tooling – Experience with OpenAI/Azure OpenAI SDKs, embeddings, vector databases (e.g., Azure Cognitive Search, Pinecone, FAISS). ML Fundamentals – Solid grasp of supervised/unsupervised learning, evaluation metrics, experiment tracking (MLflow, Weights & Biases). Cloud & DevOps – Comfortable deploying on Azure (App Service, Functions, ML, Container Apps), writing Dockerfiles, setting up pipelines (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions). Data Handling – Proficient with SQL and Pandas; able to wrangle tabular, text, image and BIM/IFC data. Soft Skills – Clear communicator who can explain complex ideas to nontechnical stakeholders; thrives in fastpaced, iterative environments. NicetoHave Knowledge of construction, engineering, manufacturing or related domains. Frontend skills (React, Streamlit) for building userfacing Gen AI tools. Familiarity with Snowflake, Power BI or Tableau for analytics and visualization. Location: Nagpur Why vConstruct / DPR Construction?
