Java Developer

As a Java Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications and backend services. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining Java-based applications and backend services. - Developing scalable RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot. - Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices. - Working on bug fixing, debugging, performance optimization, and enhancement activities. - Collaborating with frontend developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders. - Participating in code reviews and technical discussions. - Ensuring application security, scalability, and reliability. - Working with databases and optimizing SQL queries when required. - Supporting deployment and production activities when needed. - Staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications: - 1-4 years of hands-on experience in Java development. - Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOPs concepts, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading. - Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and REST APIs. - Understanding of Microservices architecture. - Experience working with Hibernate/JPA. - Good understanding of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with Git/version control systems. - Basic understanding of Maven/Gradle build tools. - Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like JUnit or Mockito. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills that would be advantageous include exposure to Kafka/RabbitMQ or any messaging systems, knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes, familiarity with AWS/Azure cloud platforms, understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies, and basic frontend knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, or React). You must hold a B. Tech / B. E in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field to be considered for this position.
