About the role
Role Overview: As a Software Test Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to conduct ETL/Data Warehouse testing and ensure the quality of software products. You will be utilizing your advanced SQL skills to write queries for data verification and performance tuning. Additionally, you will be involved in UI testing, data pipeline validation, and working directly with clients in an Agile/Scrum environment. Key Responsibilities: - Strong experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing - Advanced SQL proficiency including joins, subqueries, aggregations, and performance tuning - Writing SQL queries for data verification - Good understanding of PostgreSQL databases - Hands-on experience in UI testing - Familiarity with data pipelines and validation checkpoints - Knowledge of QA methodologies, test case design, and best practices - Direct interaction with clients - Working in Agile/Scrum methodology Qualifications Required: - 3-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance for SQL - Strong experience in Agile methodology - Exposure to working directly with US healthcare clients - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail Additional Details: The resource is expected to be available for work and support between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. This includes 6 hours of support from the office and 2 to 3 hours of support from home for US clients until 9 to 9:30 PM. It is essential to manage travel time within this specified timeframe.
