Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineering Lead/Architect to oversee the design, development, and delivery of high quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java technologies, enterprise application architecture, microservices, cloud platforms, and team leadership. This role involves leading a team of developers, driving technical excellence, and collaborating closely with cross functional stakeholders. Technical Skills 12+ years of hands-on experience in Java development; 2 3 years in a technical lead/Architect role. Strong expertise in: Java 8/11/17 Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud REST APIs & Microservices architecture Hibernate/JPA SQL databases (MySQL, Oracle Preferred, PostgreSQL) Experience with messaging systems (Kafka). Technical Leadership Lead end-to-end software development and design using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Architect and design scalable, high performance, and secure applications. Define coding standards, best practices, and design guidelines for the development team. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering quality standards. Team Management Mentor and guide a team of Java developers across levels. Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Participate in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of engineering team members. Solution Design & Architecture Contribute to high-level architectural decisions for new initiatives. Drive modernization initiatives like microservices, APIs, containerization, and cloud adoption. Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and technologies. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with leadership. Ensure cross-functional alignment across product, development, QA, and DevOps teams.
