Senior Data Engineer

Lead I – Data Engineering (Azure) Location: Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala (Hybrid) Experience: 5+ Years CTC: Up to ₹27 LPA Banking domain experience is strongly preferred. We are looking for an experienced Lead I – Data Engineering (Azure) to join a leading MNC. Primary Skills Data Engineering Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks Azure DevOps Python PySpark Role & Responsibilities Maintain foundational knowledge of upstream data, including data profiling, data quality reporting, and metadata. Support the acquisition and ingestion of data. Analyze business and data requirements to develop data models, ETL processes, business rules, data lifecycle management, governance, lineage, and metadata. Ensure data is maintained in compliance with enterprise data standards, policies, and guidelines. Develop and maintain data models and ETL jobs using standard tools. Provide support to development, QA, and production support teams to resolve data issues and support SIT/UAT/PAT testing. Support partners and stakeholders in interpreting and analyzing data. Execute source code check-in/check-out and support CI/CD deployments and release management activities. Participate in application design and architecture reviews. Ensure metadata and data lineage are captured and aligned with enterprise data management standards. Experience Required Azure Data Factory – 5+ Years Azure Databricks – 5+ Years Azure DevOps – 5+ Years Unity Catalog – 2+ Years Preferred: Banking domain experience, Delta Live Tables (DLT), TIBCO, SharePoint, and On-Prem SQL connectors.
