About the role
As a Software Development Manager in the Product Development department based in Pune, you will lead and support development teams in a fast-paced, agile SaaS environment. Your role will involve coaching and mentoring talented developers, impacting product delivery, team development, and employee engagement. You will collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define team roadmaps, priorities, and goals. Additionally, you will foster a culture of inclusion and belonging, drive delivery against product roadmaps, and ensure high standards of quality and execution. Key Responsibilities: - Lead, grow, mentor, and support development teams - Define team roadmaps, priorities, and measurable goals - Cultivate a culture of inclusion and belonging - Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments - Drive delivery against product roadmaps - Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability - Manage team performance and career development - Support hiring efforts and attract top engineering talent - Remove technical and organizational blockers - Monitor team health, engagement, and capacity - Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes effectively - Drive adoption of AI-driven development practices and innovative tooling Qualifications Required: - 10+ years of software development experience - 2+ years of experience managing software development teams - Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks - Experience in delivering SaaS product roadmaps - Strong track record in recruiting and mentoring engineering talent - Hands-on experience in Agile software development - Solid technical background and stakeholder management skills - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Interest in AI and exploring AI-driven solutions If you possess experience leading BI and analytics initiatives, overseeing the delivery of Power BI solutions, defining BI, data, and analytics roadmaps aligned with business strategy, and familiarity with Azure cloud ecosystems and data platforms, it would be considered as preferred qualifications.
