About the role
\nHealthcare Data Integration: Design, implement, and troubleshoot data exchange between healthcare information systems using the HL7 standard to ensure accurate, compliant, and seamless data flow.\nExtensive experience working with healthcare data and understanding healthcare workflows.\nCollaboration & Requirements Gathering: Work closely with operational, clinical, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define key metrics, and translate business needs into effective BI solutions.\nExecute SQL and SnowSQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from Snowflake and other healthcare data repositories, ensuring high data integrity and performance.\nPerform rigorous testing and validation of migrated reports to Qlik and Power BI and ensure fidelity, accuracy, and performance compared to the original Tableau versions. \nMaintain compliance with healthcare data privacy standards and participate in change control and governance processes for BI assets.\nWork in Agile sprints to plan, prioritize, and deliver migration milestones, including peer reviews, QA testing, and production deployment.\nData Modeling & ETL: Build and manage complex data models and ETL pipelines to integrate data from various sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files.\nDocument business logic, metadata mappings, and migration strategies for each report to support QA, training, and long-term maintenance by downstream teams.\nConduct performance tuning and optimization for large datasets and slow-loading dashboards, leveraging aggregations, query folding, and incremental refresh strategies.\nMonitor usage metrics and integrated feedback loops to prioritize enhancements and address usability issues proactively. \nImplement role-level and row-level security (RLS) strategies to ensure HIPAA-compliant access control across dashboards for physicians, administrators, and finance leaders.\n
