About the role
Veracy Consulting provides Consulting and Development services to Energy Trading & Risk Management clients. You will support daily operational activities, incident handling, monitoring, and coordination with business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: - Providing 2nd-level application support to clients for Market Risk and Credit Risk systems. - Diagnosing and resolving day-to-day Incidents and Service Requests within agreed KPI limits. - Recording all Incidents on Ticketing Platform and providing timely feedback to the Business stakeholders. - Implementing Team processes to handle all support activities. - Updating documentation on known issues and their resolution. - Liaising with other support/development Teams to resolve cross-system issues. - Working with the Development Team as a liaison from the Support Team, contributing to the planning and testing of enhancement requests or projects. Technical Experience: - 2+ years of hands-on experience with: - MS SQL Server or Oracle - ETL development - Tabular models and DAX - Power BI dashboards and data models - Exposure to .NET/C# or API integrations. - Experience with modern software engineering practices. - Understanding of Trading and Risk Management platforms is a plus. - Familiarity with Azure cloud tools (e.g., Data Lake, Blob Storage) is a plus.
