Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Verizon, you will be developing mission- and business-critical applications and Agentic solutions. You will enhance the customer experience and contribute to building world-class solutions. Working under the mentorship of a technical lead, you will collaborate with various teams, mentor junior resources, and contribute to the development, implementation, and maintenance of important applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs, analyzing requirements, and developing software systems. - Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC) concept, design, build, deploy, test, release, and support. - Act independently while displaying excellent collaboration within and between various teams. - Understand domain knowledge and adapt to an agile environment. - Build reusable code and libraries for future use in front end and back end technologies. - Mentor junior developers in the team and lead them to deliver projects successfully. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience. - Four or more years of relevant work experience. - Experience in AI-ML technologies including Agentic Tech stacks - Langchain, LangGraph. - Experience in server-side client technologies including Python, NodeJS/Java, RESTFul APIs development. - Experience in GCP Bigquery, Mem SQL, Postgres databases, SQL, PL/SQL database languages. - Experience in SRE, DevOps practices - git version control, gitflow, CI/CD pipelines. - Experience working with container related technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc). - Knowledge and experience of Agile, SAFe methodologies. - Experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes.
