Role Overview: Version 1 is looking for an individual with expertise in Data Visualization, capable of using design-led approaches and best practices to deliver business outcomes and solve complex problems for clients. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with both technical and business stakeholders, understand and define business challenges, design solutions, create roadmaps, and oversee projects from inception to successful implementation. Key Responsibilities: - Setting up Power BI workspaces with appropriate licensing. - Supporting the integration of Power BI with Databricks workspaces. - Designing and developing interactive dashboards and analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI to facilitate data-driven decision-making. - Connecting Power BI to various data sources, including Azure SQL databases, Excel files, and RESTful APIs, to ensure real-time data access. - Building Power BI reports with the required refresh frequency. - Addressing challenging customer or project requirements to ensure the delivery of business outcomes to clients. Qualifications: Essential experience & skills: - Proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions (DAX), Power Query, and data modeling for creating efficient reporting solutions. - Experience in designing high-quality data visualization artefacts and transitioning solutions to production. - Ability to apply industry trends and techniques to project contexts. - Proficient in SQL, stored procedures, views, and query performance analysis. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and enterprise cloud platforms, preferably Azure. - Full project lifecycle experience, from concept to deployment and support.
